Hi All!

Getting ready to buy a softtop before Spring kicks in and i think i want a trektop due to its cost and how easily it can be removed completely.

I noticed while searching that there are two part numbers for the Trektop:

1) 5680435
2) 5682235

I'm guessing the top number is the old part since BesTop only lists the 2nd number on their site. Will either still fit my 2011 2dr? Were there any improvements in the second number's part?

I ask because the 1st number can be found significantly cheaper than the 2nd.

I know that the soft top from the 07-09 and 10-12 are not the same, they changed the door rails and the way the soft top extends. Maybe the difference is there but its just a guess !

 

thanks for the reply. thats definitely a possibility. i've been continuing my research. Does anyone know if BesTop included the "top arch" attachment in both part numbers? that may be the difference as its a deterrent to the top flapping and puddles forming in the original models.
