Isn't it amazing how the proper diameter of steel with the proper welds and top-grade bolts that secure it the chasis of the Jeep can maintain the 3000-3500 pounds that Jeep weighs from tipping over?!

Yep, a well-built stinger can do wonders.

It will raise the front tires off the ground and on a rock, it will slow you down if you do an endover, it does make your Jeep look better,,,,,,,,,,,,,and best of all CHICK LIKE TO HANG FROM IT

I'm not sure of various state laws on bumpers like these but I am "guessing" that in my over the top state of MA, we probably have a law that prohibits bumpers like this (not that the police enforce it).
Yep - I'm running one on my DD. 50 mile daily round-trip to work. Poison Spyder trail stinger FTW.

As for the crash scenario - it isn't that much different, in my opinion, than a sub-compact car being smashed by any larger vehicle (full-sized truck, van, semi, etc.). You just can't predict what is going to happen. You can check out your state laws on bumpers though, and see if they will restrict the types, heights, and so on. Worth a shot if you want to go that route on your bumper.

(mine is the white one)

This is one of the things that always enters my mind about stingers and what "may" or "may not" happen, you plow through a hatchback with one of these things and you're killing whomever is in the back seat... Then your insurance company gets wind of the fact that you were running an off road bumper and they leave your ass high and dry because in the end it IS your fault for knowingly putting it on your vehicle. In Jersey I could def see this happening. I'm finally swapping out for a new bumper and am going with the PSC brawler lite since it's not as high as others and flat along the top instead of forming a point.

I'm just going to cut up a pool noodle and ziptie it around the stinger. That way if anything happens I can say it wasn't my fault.
