Yes, line speed is usually a little slower, and the thickness of the wire rope is larger, which will usually mean, shorter lengths.

.....the PowerPlant HD puts out 5 cfm @ 90 psi, with a built-in air tank and intercooler. That means airing up four 35" tires from 8 psi to 35 psi in 8 minutes-or less. It's also great for powering air tools such as impact guns and nailers. And with the PowerPlant, there's no labor-intensive compressor set up: it's part of our standard winch mounting process.

How those air system performs?

Thank you.

its fine for airing tires, but will not power air tools requiring continuous air at 90psi. my air cutoff wheel works for about 2seconds before running out of air. warn has add ons for the PP for those that need more air.

I'm also looking into getting one of these. I assume you can run a tank with these? Convince us to buy one. I found a belt driven compressor for $402 that claims to be 8cfm @ 100psi. The warn claims 5cfm so I can't see going to the extra trouble to use the belt driven.

I like mine so far, contrary to popular belief it will run an air tool, I hooked up an impact and removed the lugnuts on one wheel just to see if it would or not, it did it just fine.

I don't think they fit in a ARB bull bar bumper, you should double check that.

Here are some pics of mine installed in my Rock Hard bumper.

Anyone with a Rugged Ridge and a Powerplant? Pics? Is there enough room with the hoop?

PP fits in the ARB. I haven't had any pulls on the winch yet but use it all the time for air on and off the trail.

From what I've read the hoop and PP don't work. Would be nice if they did though.
