Wheel help?
I am looking into getting some craiger soft 8s. Was thinking off getting 16s. I want to run the nitto trail grapplers in 33s for awhile them bumping up to 35s once I get the axels set up. So how much back spacing do I need and what width for rim and tire to get as low as I can without popping a bead

You'll find that most all lift manufacturers recommend a wheel with 4.5" backspacing, or less. I've seen a few run 4" b.s. also, but, depending on the width of the wheel, the further offset to the outside can put more stress on the unit bearings, ball joints, etc...but that problem would be worse with 35's or 37's, etc...with 33's I don't think it would be a big deal. 4.5 is probably your best bet, if you're planning on going to 35's and keeping the same wheels. Just FYI, some manufacturers like to list backspacing in a number referred to as ET. A -12 (minus twelve) is 116 mm, or 4.5 inches. (4.53, actually, but if it says -12, it's a 4.5 backspacing).
