Default Wheel question

Took the black mountain aftermarket wheels off wife's 09 JKU rubicon to put on my 2012 rubicon 2dr and the wheels rub brakes calipers. What's up with that did they make changes in brakes from 09 to 12?

15" steel wheel??

If so, you will need to clearance the calipers if you want to use those wheels.

They are sixteen inch wheels that fit just fine on the 2009 but don't on the 2012. Both are rub icons, only difference is the 09 is 4dr and the 12 is 2dr. Have about 10k miles running on the 09.

Are you the first owner of the '12?

The brake calipers are same on all JK. Makes me wonder if someone put a "big brake kit" on or if the factory installed wrong calipers?

You can get a factory 16" steel wheel. It doesn't make sense to me that yours would not fit.

I am really scratching my head on this one.

Any chance you have photos of the caliper or trying to mount wheel?
