Wheel spacer thickness??
Here's mine with 1.5" Spidertrax.
Thanks for the photos. That settles it. 1.5 Spidertrax it is. However, I have one more question. Since Spidertrax provides loctite with their spacers, is there any need for a re-torque on the spacers after they are initially installed?
1. Install the spacers with the provided red loctite and torque to 100lbs. (even though recommended is 80-90, 100 is not going to damage anything). Make sure to use the provided nuts, NOT the stock wheel lugnuts.
2. Install the wheels and torque to 95 lbs. using the wheel lugnuts. Do NOT use loctite on the wheel lugnuts.
3. Drive 100-250 miles.
4. Remove your wheels and re-torque the spacer nuts to 95lbs. so you don't "break the seal" which would break at over 100lbs.
5. Re-install your wheels and torque to 95lbs.
6. Drive 3,000 miles.
7. Rotate tires and repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 every 3,000 miles.
Good luck!
I ran 1.25" spacers without having to grind anything... I'm not sure where everyone else is getting their info but this is straight-up experience. The spacers were on for a good 4mths without problems. The wheels I was using were the 18" stock wheels with the spacers. The 1.25" worked just fine but trust me when I say..YOU CANNOT GO SMALLER than that without grinding.

The way I recall was the bolt and the spacer pretty much lined-up... It's been just about 2 yrs ago since I had them. Again, that's if my memory serves me right. I know that I could have easily used them with my KMC Enduro's but opted not to because the KMC's fit ever-so-perfectly under my rig I didn't see the need. I figured I could get part of my money back instead, so I sold them to someone on here... Whom, by the way, has never complained about them.

I am planning on adding wheel spacers to my 08 JK Rubicon Unlimited in the near future. What is the narrowest/thinnest thickness I can go without trimming the wheel studs? Also, what sizes are available? I plan to use either Spidertracs or TereFlex for safety. I only do mild off-roading.
on some wheels it will work but i have also seen a lot that do not. and, when they don't work, you would not be able to see that it's not working until something went wrong (like loosing a wheel) or pulling off your wheels to seeing if the studs have left contact impressions on your wheel. i have seen both. so you know, i run 1.25" spacers on my jk now and had to grind my wheel studs in order to make them work with my walker evans beadlocks.
About how much did you have to grind off?
