Can anyone help me with the reason why I need wheel spacers to put a 2.5" BB with the stock 255/75R/17? I think I understand that wheel spacers push the wheels out away from Jeep but don't get why I need them to keep OE wheels with just a lift. Thanks!
the rear sway bar links will hit your rim causing damage. This is because there longer. Wheel spacers will make it look better and handle better due to wider stance.
So u either need wheel spacers or different rims with 4.5 backspace or less.

Ok so that makes more sense. I've been told I needed to get them with the lift, I just needed to understand why. Thank you!
Will a 1.5" spidertrax sapcer do the trick?

Yep. That's what I run.. spider trax.
I run 35's on mine.
And as long as there installed properly and u check the torque on the bolts every rotate your good.
I've had no issues and I have had them on for about 8000 miles now.

I have the Teraflex 2.5 BB lift with NO wheel spacers....rear links are on the inside. There is no issues with mine rubbing.

Teraflex kit says that the links go on the inside...they can go on the outside but would need more clearance ( offset wheel or wheel spacer ). It doesn't look to matter what side the links go on, exept for clearance issues.
