Default Wheel spacers

Are they really worth it or not? Now I know we all love the aggressive looks to our jeeps but mechanically is it sound?

If it's a good quality spacer that is installed correctly and periodically checked, then yes it is safe. I have ran a set of spidertrax for 3 years with no issues

I'm running them now. The question that comes to my mind is with locktite "setting" in the threads would retorquing the nuts help or hurt? If you break the set lock tite by slightly tightening them, are you helping or hurting? I'm not real sure of that answer

You're not supposed to retorque at the same ft lbs you installed the spacers with. Say you install at 90ft lbs, then when you retorque use 85ft lbs.

If you "break" the locktite then take the spacers off, remove old locktite with a wire brush, then reinstall from step one on the instructions.

Ok, that makes sense. I have never heard that before.
