Why does one need to remove the retainer rings on the wheel studs? Could you elaborate on that?

Because you want the spacers as flush a possible.

1.75 in spacers give the jeep a hell of a lot more stability plus im running 33/12.50/17 tires so it sticks out alot more too i love em

I want it to look aggressive and give me stability and from what I've seen wheel spacers are the way to go.

Did you remove the washers that hold the brakes onto the lug studs? That's the only place people find problems like that.

I haven't done it yet; I'm looking at a pair now and one guy told me it causes wheel shakes sometimes.
