Jk bolt pattern is 5on5
backspacing you will want is 4.5"
Biggest you can go without rubbing will be 285/70. Some have gone larger with no issues, but that is the largest tire with almost unanimous consent of no rubbing issues.

Lift will not void your warranty. Lift components will not be covered under Chrysler waranty, but will not void it. Be aware though that if a failure can be proved to be caused by an aftermarket component the dealer is under no obligation to replace that specific part. (i.e. you are running 35" tires and break an axle shaft, the shaft probably wont be replaced under warranty, but a bad brake caliper should).

Default info

I bought a 2008 unlimited x in march of 08 after they started the lifetime warranty and I asked the dealership about lift and all that good stuff. I was told by the dealership that is you stayed 2.5" or under that everything was still covered by the factory warranty but if you went over 2.5" then everything but the suspension would be covered. I lifted mine 2.5" and am running 35" mud grapplers and then did a fender chop to hopefully run 37s when I need new tires. Hope that this helps although I know how hard parents are to convince sometimes. Good luck with it.

Depends on the 33 you get. A 33/12.50R20 will rub alot. A 295/70 (roughly 34/10.50) will rub at full compression. A 285/70 (roughly 32.9 wont rub from everything I have seen).

See if you can talk your parents into a 2.5" budget boost. They are poly spacers that install above the springs. A 2.5" kit will allow you to run 35"s with no to minimal rubbing.

2.5" BB run about $200.

Call david at Northridge4x4 (link in my sig). He will talk you through what you want to do and get you the product for the best fit. Since you have a Sahara if you have the tow package I would say keep the shocks you have and get the extenders, if you dont (have the regular shocks) then get new ones. But either way there are options for any budget.
