The mounted tire width is dependent on the rim width. Look for the "measuring rim width" spec of the tire, and compare it to your rim width. For every inch bigger than MRW, your tire will be 1/2" wider, and 1/2" narrower for every inch smaller. The narrower rim will also make the tire bulge out more.

Hey, just being honest.
What are the Brands of tires that you are looking at? There's not a whole lot offered in 37's for 16 inch wheels?
