Wheel Width vs. Tire Width

I have 37x12.5's on my stock 17x7.5 wheels with 1.5" spacers. I had to add 1/2" thick spacers to my steering stops to keep them off my sway bars / frame. It still turns okay but without the wheel spacers I would probably have the turning radius of an F-250. With 13.5" of width it would be worse.

All good info. I'm running with a 2.5 Coil lift & 1.25" body lift. I have 1.5" Wheel Spacers and I'm looking to put 37x12.5's on my stock Moab's. Other then the steering stops, have you done anything else to accomodate the 37's such as: extend your bump stops?
