So a buddy showed up last night with a new jeep! He found a TJ sitting on a lot that he got a steal on and grabbed it. BUT... He also bought some JK Rubi wheels and tires from them to put on it. They told him it would fit. But I was thinking that they have a differant lug pattern? Will they work for him?

nope, Jk is 5x5, TJ is 5x4.5.

 

X2, If they told him that the JK's would fit on the TJ, then they didn't know what they were talking about.

 

You can buy adapters to make them fit. I sold my stock wheels to my neighbor who has a TJ and they used adapters. Worked out well, but was a little pricey... about 200 for 4 adapters...

 

Yeah, try Spidertrax for adapters but they will be about $200 new as stated or check out the for sale section here for used ones

 

You can go ahead and send those wheels this way.... and actually make money off them...

 

I think I have finally convinced him after showing him that EVERYONE has said the same thing!
