Posted on Diablosport forums in the Dodge Gas Engine area:

P050B Ignition timing retard value insufficient for 5 seconds or more
during 10 seconds of P050A monitoring duration at cold start
(2 trip detection logic)

possible problem areas
• Throttle body assembly
• Air induction system
• PCV hose connections
• VVT system (rule this out on the 3.8)
• Air cleaner filter element
• ECM

Hope you can figure it out! Mine threw a code the other day but can't remember what it was, I just cleared it and it hasn't returned... It was on start up too... Thinking it might be the same, if it happens again ill post it.

I am happy with the purchase and install. I wish the fuel economy was a little better, but If you want power increases you gots to increase the fuel to the engine. i mainly bought the supercharger to help with towing my sled to the mountains. When I lifted and put her on 35's I was basically driving in 5 gear and dropping to 4th to climb the mountains with my sled. If I tried to pull 2 sled I was in 4th gear all the time. Now with the charger installed I put her in 6th and maybe have to drop to 5th on bigger pulls. The difference in fuel prices really only adds about $10 more a tank running 91 octane vs. 87 octane.

I would do it again for the special price they were running, but at retail of 4 grand, I would possibly gone a different route, or just left that cash in my account and delt with it being a slug. Now I'm looking to pay the jk off so I can get in a 14' stingray lol.

I am seriously considering the Prodigy Turbo. From what I have read so far they have the tuning spot on, the HP and the mpg's.

Tuning is improving. Based on my experience with Sprintex, this is the route I'd go.

Any year 3.8 with the manual 6 speed: Duablo tuner (trinity or intune).
07-10 Autos go with the Hypertech at this time.

just my 2 cents.
