Just wondering, about how much rubbing.... Could you tear off your fenders, or will it just make noise? Sometimes the term rubbing is used for every little thing.

I'm also looking at the same type of setup. Keeping the stock tires for everyday, and the 35's for wheeling trips.

When I heard that in my XJ, it made me feel like i was really putting the suspension to work. As well as warming my heart...
