Default Will 35's fit without lift?

I have the TereFlex 2.5" spring lft and new BFG 35"KM2's waiting to be installed.

My question is, Can i put the 35" tires before the lift without any rubbing (on road only)? This is just temporary until I have time to get the lift installed. I am heading to Sturgis in a few days and my wife will be driving it frequently while I am gone. I dont want any issues with it. BTW she doesnt know i bought the tires yet. Shes out of town now and i thought i would "surprise" her or see if she notices before she tries to step in.

They'll fit, but barely. Just go over speed bumps slowly and try not to turn the wheel to full lock.

in the picture above the jeep has a warn bumper, if you still have the stock bumper, you'll have problems there. also i think that if you leave your jeep with your wife she'll have a lot of problems with rubbing and she wont like the jeep anymore, then she will not understand why you had to put those tires, if it was fine the way it was, and she might question why you're ruining your jeep , then also would not understand why the lift, she will also question why the jeep is so much slower now. all this questions and answers will make your life and the relationship with your jeep and wife a lot harder, so i suggest don't put those tires on, or don't let your wife drive your jeep( sorry I got carried away, I'm actually talking about my wife)

To add to robin's rant . . . Yeah , they will fit . . . BARELY!

But why do it? If she is like my wife she will drive the jeep the first chance she gets.
She'll find every curb in town and scar up the sidewalls of your brand-spankin
new tires, then she would manage to get up on one of the curbs thinking
how cool she is, meanwhile that dreaded lower rear corner of the quarter
panel has gashed a slit into the tread. I could go on and on.

IMO Wait 'till you get home, just my 2 cents. Can't wait to see the pics when you do get it done!
