Default Will a bug shield increase wind noise?

I was wanting to put on a bug deflector, looking at the GTS one, and was concerned if they increase the wind noise or can they actually help reduce it?

I do alot of highway driving for work and noise is an issue. The noise I get now is fine. However if I add a shield will the sound be the same as when I'm doing 70mph or is there no effect on noise?

I just talked with a guy the other day who put on a bug deflector. He said it does increase wind noise at highway speed but the benefit was less rocks and bugs into the window. So he was ok with it. Note he also had a hard top and light truck tires so he isn't getting much noise from other sources (soft top, mud tires).

Edit: I can't remember the brand he had on but it was not the Mopar one.

I have an AVS and I don't think it added any noise, but then I only drove it about 150 miles before I put it on.

mine is the mopar one, no difference at all....but mine is a soft top, so even if it does make noise I can't hear it.
