This will be my first set up front, still running the OEM's at 92,000 wow......but this will be the 3rd set for the rear. So wil the cronic nature of the rears wearing so quickly I would rather no put 75$ pads back there. Is there a real "must do" kind of thing or is sticking with the cheap ones OK?

also which Hawks to get?

No reason to do the rear. I just swapped out the front stock pads for hawk LTS pads. They stop great. I wnt with the LTS because they have the best cold friction of all the hawk pads.

You don't have to do rears same, but if they need replacing, why not? I've found the rears wear down quicker than the fronts. I just replaced my rears with Hawks LTS and I have a set for the front, but my fronts are still good, so I'll wait about another 5-6 months. Great pads. Lots of cold stopping power. Worked great on the trail & pavement.

rears are Hawk Performance LTS HB608Y.630
fronts are Hawk Performance LTS HB569Y.650

thanks for the info, the why not for the rear is strictly cost. 75$ vs 25$ for Car Quest.
