My wife and I want to get a Bestop instatrunk for our nieces 2011 JKU. The years listed at Quadretech are 07-10. Are 2010 cargo areas similar to 2011? Will a 2010 Instatrunk fit a 2011?

 

No it will not fit. The interior is very different in the '11s & '12s. If they don't have a model that will fit your jeep, they will probably have one eventually.

 

Thanks Robar for your response. I have a 2011 myself and have not really noticed the rear cargo areas of 2010 and earlier. My wife and I wanted to get our niece a secure storage space in her 2011 JKU for when she goes off to college. I know the body styles have not changed. I was hoping although the front interior had changed the cargo area remained similar.

 

I believe Tuffy has a security deck for the 2011 and newer JKs. I had one in my '07 and it was very nice. I probably cost a little more than the Instatrunk, but it is metal and more secure: http://www.tuffyproducts.com/p-294-2...enclosure.aspx

 

Correct...the 2011's+ had a drastic interior remodel from front to back, so most manufacturers had to completely redesign products. The 2011+ Security Deck Enclosure - http://www.tuffyproducts.com/p-294-2...enclosure.aspx works great for the JKU and would give her tons of locked up storage for gear, laptops, etc... We've also got plenty of other products as well. Not that I'm biased... I don't believe that Bestop offers ANY storage products for the 2011-2012's.
