Default Will i need to re gear

I'm currently running 33s on my 2012 jk and all is well. Would I need to do any re gearing to step up to 35s?

Need to, no. Want to, yes assuming you have 3.21 or 3.73 gears. I ran my 2010 with 34's and 3.73 gears and while it was ok it really lacked power.

Personal preference, a lot will depend on the terrain you're driving in. Throw 35s on and see how you like it. What gears do you have now? Manual or auto?

There are some rpm charts in the FAQ's. Plug in the numbers to get an indication of how much rpm/hp/tq you will be losing. It doesn't account for lift height, added tire size, added tire weight, etc. But it a good first stop for seeing the numbers.

Can't afford to rehear any time soon. That's why I was wondering. Gonna be getting new tires soon and wondered if it would hurt to go to 35s. Re gearing isn't an option for me at this point. Finances and such

I get it! It can work on the short-mid term. People do it all the time without re gearing, you just will loose some "oomph" What gears do you currently have? I have read 3.73 is livable. 3.21 will probably suck
