Default Will this work ?

I'm looking at all these threads, and just scratching my head here.
I want to get it from you guys, who I consider the knowledgeable ones, rather than leave it up to my inference from what I'm reading here.

I have a 07' Sahara Unlimited with the upgrades 18" wheels, and 255/70R 18 tires.

I just ordered Pro Comp Radial Mud-terrains, 35/12.50/18.

What exactly am I going to need to clear these on my stock Wrangler, with my stock wheels ?

I'm planning on fitting the 2.5" Terraflex Budget Boost, will I also need 1.5 inch wheel spacers ?

I applicate it, I know theres tons of threads, but everyones doing little things that are gonna make a difference whether something will or will not work. With different wheels, etc. Help this lost guy ? lol.

Btw, I promise pics when it's all done. The sooner I get answers the sooner they're pics! =P

With the backspace of the stock wheels you will rub with 35" tires. Your 2.5" lift and spidertrax 1.5" wheel spacers will prevent most if not all rubbing. You may rub on the air dam under the front at full turn while in reverse.

I did a ton of research and remember people having this same setup and having no issues. I am sure some of them will chime in here shortly.

Can't wait to see the pictures!

Hey Ctimrun, I'm looking at your jeep, looks sharp. Are you using a lift/or anything with those 35's ?

The wheel spacers with the Teraflex BB will clear those tires just fine...........remove the air dam anyways. Its hideous.

Just make sure you install the bumpstop extensions. 35's and 2.5" of lift is very tight! I have about 1/4-1/2 inch of clearance with a 2"front spring lift plus a 3/4" spacer at full flex.

Is it doable with the lift, and without the spacers. Or do I absolutely need those with the thicker tire ?

If you are using factory wheels, spacers or some trimming will be necessary. The 12.5" wide tires will be 2" wider than the stock tires. So about an extra inch of rubber on both sides of the wheel. You would need a wheel with 5" or less of backspacing.

If you buy spacers $200 for a set of Spidertrax. If you buy wheels, about $220-300 a set of steel wheels like the Cragar Soft 8's. Either way, the price is close. I like the look of the factory 17's don't like the 18's as much.

The 35's I ordered are for 18's so it looks like I'm stuck with having to go for the spacers lol. Thanks for the help.
