The rim range for the Pro Comps I ordered are 8-10", does anyone know what the rim size is for the optional (18") Sahara rims I have ?

EDIT: Looks like the Sahara rim is 7.5" wide, will I still be able to fit these tires on it ? Ughh.

EDIT EDIT: Alright I researched, seems I will be able to. Although ,is there any safety concerns or problems by doing so ?

I have seen some people on the forum doing it. It should fit fine. Some tire shops will not put a tire on a rim smaller than the tire manufacturers suggested size. Liability. Some shops don't care.

You should have no real issues. I did something similar with my Dodge Ram CTD 4x4. I placed 33X12.5R17 D*Ck Cepek FCII's a few years back on the stocker rims which were only 7 inch wide rims. I know in the book these tires required a 8 inch rim. I drove 85,000km/55,000 miles 50% highway & 50% offroad (logging roads) and I never had any issues with the tires or truck.

When I got new aftermarket rims for my CTD last year, I went with a 18x8 so I would not have an issue with the wider tires. I know when I went with Toyo M/T's 33x12.5R18's they required a minimum of 8 inch rim.

I am not sure if that is for all tire makers that require a min. 8 inch rim for 35 or 33x12.5 tire?

I am sure someone will chime in about the risks.

Ok guys, so Quadratec kinda screwed me over. Placed my order the other day, called today to get a tracking on it, no order was ever placed...according to them, despite recieving a order confirmation number from them directly on the phone

So, I'm gonna take this as a sign from above (or someone just really screwed up), and take a look at some other lifts.

What is the word on the Skyjacker 2.5" lift with shocks ? I know there were some problems with the larger lifts, but should this be good to go ?

I think this is where I'm gonna end up going, I was considering a 4", but I'll save the money and put it towards some nice wheels.

If anyone has an suggestions for a 2.5"-3" lift in the >600 range, let me here it.

My one other consideration was the Pro Comp Stage 1 4" lift, input ?

Thanks !
