Default Will this work?

Alright so I've been on 33s that measure out to about 32.5 for the past few years and they finally wore out so I'm thinking I'm going to make the jump to 35's. I want to keep my jeep as low as possible so I'm going to try running 35's with no lift. I currently have Bushwacker flat fenders and what I've done is I've cut out all of the inner plastics in the rear. My plan is to have the sheet metal follow the line of the fender thus opening up the fender a bit.
Anyone else think this will work?

Yupp, you should be fine. You can remove quite a bit of material in the rear wheel wells.

There's a guy here that cut, clipped, trimmed, and folded metal in the wheel well to fit 37's (though I've not put my hands on it) so you should certainly be able to get away with 35's without too much pain.

Do it!!! I am running 315/70/17 with no lift. I removed my rear fenders completely. Rub in the front sometimes when articulated, but it's not that big of a deal.

You will need to shorten those OEM sliders about 1 1/2 inches and trim the pinch seem a little. Use a BFH and then paint all of it black.

plan on adding some bump stop or you will rub on the up travel.
