Default Winch/bumper question

Is there any website or something that could tell me exactly what type of winches i can install on the front mopar off road winch bumper. or should i just ask the guys at the dealership, based on past questions i've asked about certain suspension mods, they weren't too knowledgeable about after market options.

Probably your best resource is to ask here who is using what. Or, you could pick out a winch and ask who's using it and what their experience has been.

that bumper was designed to accept the Warn 9.5ti with a Hawse fairlead. you will see an install write-up on it in the March issue of JPfreek.com. but as others have said, search here because there are several threads on this topic here. in fact, I've posted in about 3-4 threads on it recently so feel free to search using my user name.

the bumper has a std 4'' x 10'' mount and accepts a wide range of winches. the holes aren't perfectly spaced so you'll need to open them a bit. and some winches require the solenoid to me mounted after the winch ia in place or they hit the bull bar (assuming you are installing the winch after bumper is in place, otherwise you'd be ok).

search & enjoy. PM me if needed.

I have the Morpar bumber and installed a Warn M-8000 without removing the bumper. No issues at all and looks good.

ya ive been researching a bit and so far it seems the warn winches are made for the mopar bumper. any other winch, depending on which one, will require some minor modifications to the bumper.

i'd like more ideas if possible, thx so far to those who've replied

I have a Warn M8000 on my Mopar bumper. Easy install and did not have to remove the bumper.
