One is designed to hit a cheap price point the other is not. If you're comfortable pulling 300 to 450 amps thru 4 gauge wire do it. It may not be an issue as the Smittybuilt may not be able to pull that kind of amperage.

Ok I admit it, I'm being a smart*ss and admit that I don't care for cheap winches. The winch may even perform better with 2 Gauge wire.

Default Change the cables and battery

Go to a shop that make battery cables and have some 0 gauage cables made for you winch, it will have more power.

The battery that comes with the jeep is junk. I changed mine the first week of owning the jeep.
