I, too, want the convenience of one install doing two jobs.
You might want to add a pair of 1" spacers to the order to compensate for the weight. You'll be happy with the compressor. It does a nice job of filling up the tires.

Mine is T-max 12500 ! I know many of you say it´s overkill, but my pulls tend to be long ones, often repeating them 3 or 4 times in row.
I ended up to use my own way to make it removable, because it´s also my DD and i dont want to carry it up front all the time. It´s just 4 bolts and cables to battery, set up time less than 10 minutes.

Thanks for the tip--yeah, I was keeping an eye on RescueX's need for spacers after he did his mod (he lives nearby).

If you click on my gallery photos. I have a champion 8000 mounted on the stock bumper. I think It works and looks fine. I have not had any heavy pulls on it yet. The champion from Cosco was $299.00 including roller, snatch block and winch plate. the mounting is not super difficult. the hardest part was the first cut into the bumper with the SAWZALL!!!!!
Good luck

I am looking at the Powerplant also. In my case i would use the winch maybe twice a year; but i fill up my tires (and maybe another jeep or 2) every weekend.

Would it be better for me to go with the Powerplant or run a dedicated onboard air system with a non Powerpalant warn? I figure the price would be about the same.

Also, i have a 2dr Rubicon, so where would i mount the onboard air system if I went that route?
