haha !!!

JKFreedon , i got a 2500lbs champion winch from costco on my ATV for 2 years now , it still work like a new one , for only 89$ it's a good deal

my 3000 warn that cost me over 900$ only works for 3 years before water came in and destroy the motor......

when i gonna put a winch on my JK i will certainly check for them at Costco

the only thing , you got to be careful , they don't get a heat protection switch like the warn , so you can easily burn the motor if you winch too hard for too long

and check on QC4x4 there is a how-to to beef up Champion winches

Your up here in Canada. Call Duncan at Titan winches. They are a great deal for the price. Everything is triple sealed which is great for our climate. Great customer service as well

All of the big name winches have mucho available parts and service as well as tech support. I wouldn't know where to begin to look for parts for an import winch. I mean.....Harbor Freight stuff is pretty much "snatch it off, take it back and exchange it".......that right there oughtta speak about the quality of that kinda stuff. I thought about an import winch before I purchased my Warn M8000, but really, you can save up about 150 extra bucks and get something with a proven reputation that won't take all day to pull you out.

If you can afford a Warn, then buy a Warn..... The 8000 aren't that expensive and are proven workhorses.

My Papa gave me this exact winch. First time I used it the solenoid to draw in the cable gave out. I took the box off the winch and tapped the solenoid and got it to work again but I don't want to have to do that every time I get stuck.
