Dude, that is exactly what I was looking for. with the exception of the box, it almost looks factory. Of course my license plate would be covering the fairlead, but damn that is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for posting.

You're welcome, glad I could be of help. I really like the way it turned out and it was a fun project. I've done recoveries with it too and it has held up nicely. You could probably lose the solenoid box and tuck the solenoid itself up behind the grill without to much difficulty. Also, I got the Kilby license plate kit now which lets me attach my license plate to the fairlead. All it is though is a couple of plastic Maglight holders and an aluminum plate. You could make your own for almost nothing. I've seen people bolt the holders directly to the license plate too.
