I ran them from the control box into the grill and to the left in the little upper hole by the radiator, will the wires be ok there or do I need to relocate them , I dont konw much about anything, will they get hot or hte radiator get hot?

I didnt run mine through the grill because I figured it would rub the paint off the grill. I wrapped the power wires with black plastic wire cover to prevent UV damage. Ran the wires under the left side of the grill and weasel them into the engine bay. Like a glove!

Mine is wired the way you mentioned (through grill and around upper left of radiator). Had it about 8 months now. Works great.

I don't have a fuse. Winch instructions did not call for it.

Any others running without fuse, this seems a bit dangerous but maybe I dont know enough about winches?

Couldnt that cause a burn down or something ...bad short
