Default Would a 4" rancho be too much?

Im interested in the rancho 4" sport system with the rebate coming up, but im not sure if it will look stupid. Im only interested in running 35" tires. Ive already got Bushwacker flat flares. I dont offroad to an extreme sense. A little flexing, mostly mud, next to no rocks.

Im not interested in buying more lift then i need. The only reason I was attrated to this was the rebate, but the more i think about it the more i think its the wrong lift for me.

Planning to gear to either 4.56 or 4.88, lift, and 35's. Its my DD so nothing too crazy.

From the research I have done I have decided that a 2.5" lift with high clearance flares and 35" tires is perfect. I think the high clearance flares add about an inch or two as far as looks are concerned, not to mention larger tire ability.

I will be running a 2.5" skyjacker lift with 35x12.5's and high clearance fenders. You always have the option of adding another Body Boost if you feel the need.

However... I have also measured that the skyjacker 2.5" lift added about 3" of height, and another inch on top of that is not much more. In conclusion to your situation specifically I would do whatever is cheaper.

look at the full traction thread in the sponser section and they have a 3" premium plus system for $1195.95 w/ free shipping and would be perfect. I all ready ordered mine.

theres no such thing when your building your rig to your specs.
doesent matter what others think of it, you make it your own.

im running 6" with 35" tires and im happy with it
i dont have to regear or worry about overstressed axles and i can have the ground clearance to hop over anything.

dont forget to price driveshafts if you are going over 3" lift tho

Id need DS replacement at 3" with a 6 speed unlimited? I thought that only applied to autos at 3" and usually only 2 doors at that?

No your fine, it's the front shaft on any auto, 2 or 4 door. The rear shaft on 2 doors for lifts 3" and up.
