Personally I would not like the look, it would be too much lift with too small of a tire. If you are going to run 33s get a 2" or 2.5" lift and you will have a killer set up. What looks good to me is not necessary the same for you.

So, if you don't want 35s, ever, then I would say only go 2.5" on the lift. However, 35s will give you a wider footprint for the sand than will the 33s.
If people don't like the way your Jeep looks, allow them to pay for the things to make it look like they want to.

Eventually I will get 37s, but the Rubicon 32s don't look terrible with the 4" on mine.

thanx everyone for ur comments yes maybe one day i will go with 35's... and even though 33's might not have as much surface area on the sand.. ill have more torque with the 33's which will defo help in climbing wont it? and i suppose ill stick to the full TF 3" lift then.. and that wat if i ever wanted to.. i wud still be able to run 35's correct?

1. why don't companies measure things in a standard way? 3 inches should be 3 inches no matter who's kit it is.

2. how do you figure 35's give you a larger footprint than 33's? I can see this possibly argued if you air way down, but the 33 vs 35 is the height of the tire, not the width, and the width of the rim itself is also a factor.

Agreed, tire height effects your ground clearance but there is very little difference in the tires footprint or contact patch between and 33 and 35 of the same width. If I paid attention in science class; A tire with a large diameter will have a slightly larger contact patch than a smaller tire of the same width.

My argument is that generally, 35s come in 12.5 width, and 33s usually come in 10.5 width. I know you can get 33s with a 12.5, and probably wider, but it was just something I noticed when shopping for tires once.
However, you're both right that a tire that is taller can air down more and get a larger patch due to sidewall flex. I was just going on the general taller=wider rule for tires.

It's a matter of gearing - if you want to have the same power with 35s you just need to change out your gears. I would definitely not go with 33s - it will look silly.

I had a friend that went with the Skyjacker 4" lift and it did come out to a little over 5" and he ran stock 32" Rubicon tires and rims. It just didn't look right, but that's my opinion.
