I bought a 2013 jeep. This is how it came. I am looking to beef up the looks of the Jeep. Would the spacers work out and what would it look like with spacers installed?
Can't tell from the picture which brand those are. . Not going to go in to the whole debate of spacers or no spacers.....but if you're going that route stick with a quality brand like Spidertrax or Synergy. G2 is common as well, but wouldn't be my preference....i'm just not a fan of G2 anything. All you're doing is pushing the wheels further out. It would definitely give a more aggressive stance in regards to appearance (no comment on anything other than that).
It sounds like you're not a fan of spacers. Is it because of safety concerns? Thank you for your reply also
I am not a fan at all, yet at the same time I reluctantly have some on my jeep at this moment. Hopefully I'll have new 3.5" BS beadlocks by summertime and I can ditch em. I'd prefer not to have any due to safety concerns, but also cuz they're just a whole nother thing to remove any time you gotta pull crap apart. If you need them for clearance issues, it's an understandable stopgap use until you can afford proper BS wheels. I probably wouldn't do it just for looks alone though. If you put em on, make sure you use blue loctite, torque em properly, and double check torque 500 or so miles down the road.....and probably best to check each time the wheel is off for whatever reason.
We ocassionally see problems reported, but from what I remember they all got traced back to either improper install/maintenance, or poor quality components. So, while properly backspaced rims are the better alternative, plenty of people are running spacers/adapters without issue. Just remember that you can't slap them on and forget they are there, it's 20 more bolts that need to be maintained.
