I was looking at one but decided against it. mine works just fine now, besides its just another thing to add to your key chain or get lost and its too pricey.

My remote isnt on my keychain, it is velcroed underneath my center console handle.

I think i would be worried about reliabilty..Ie electronics fail, batteries die not the best senerio for me.I know it is probably very reliable and my solinoid will prob fail first..But I would rather not take chances..Good Ol MURPHY'S LAW..Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. I like the better odd's

If you could still use the wired one as a back-up, I'd say it would be handy!

On my T-Maxx, you can use the wire if you want or you can use it without.

A remote is cool and offers good functionality but it is not something on my "must have" list.
I thought about the same thing. it would be nice to have one, so I guess I would buy one, but I don't need it right now.

Default More than a just nice to have to me...

I love mine! I have used it while I was in the jeep hanging off the side of a trail in snow winching and driving at the same time. It was nice not to have to worry about cable routing and so on.

Yes, if there is ever a problem I can simply unplug it and plug in the factory controller without even opening the hood, it plugs into the power pack and the receiver is mounted under the hood.
