Wrangler MT/R's?
Wha?
Uh, OK
All I KNOW(not assuming or guessing, you know because I run em
) is that they are the best tire that I have run on any of my jeeps. Also, I said I run 315/75/16(just shy of 35's), Anyone running a trail 4.0 or more is probably running a bigger tire
Does MTR come any bigger than 37? Idunno, but maybe a 40 at the most. What size tires do you see on your 4.0 trails in Arizona?
Guess I'll stick with my little bity North Carolina trails

Your right, I'm wrong. I'm taking my tires off right now. What are you running, thats what I want. I want your tires.
Tell us what tire you run, and what all you know about your tires. Bet they are friggin the heat at the mall

I think the pound per inch is for the C-load rated tires, the 37s are E rated with a max pressure of 65. I'm guessing they need to be in the 40s, but that still seems low in comparison to its max pressure.

Im running MTZ's.
And only reason im staying at 33's is in case I get stationed someplace away from the trails, it'll be at least drivable with decent mileage without having to take the tires off. Im up for a PCS in November of this year. It would suck to get stationed someplace like new jersey :( but its a possibility and untill I get out of the military, its something I need to factor in.
In the pic above lance is running Baja Claws in the competition compound...(I dont think they make it any more, and even if they do---his IS a trailer queen--competition tires would wear down way to quick)
40PSI seems way to much RyanM--honestly the best thing to do is use the chalk method, simpley because everyone's rig is going to weigh more and tires are going to flex(more or less depending on manufacture and weight of jeep)
Take a chalk line, inflate to what you think max should be for your rig, drive streight and see where the chalk is rubbed off.. If just in the center of the tire, you need to let air out. if it starts to get to the edges, add more.. your looking for a nice even wear across the line. Dont forget that you need to drive streight for this to work, as turning will distort the line..
Also dont be surprised if the psi needed in the front is higher than the rear..
