Are you talking about the upper control arm axle end?

I think so. I'm gunna level with ya, I didn't even know what a control arm was until about a week ago. It is literally impossible to tighten that bolt with the tire on though.

Do you have spacers on , or are you running stock rims? If it were me and I may get flamed , I'd torque it with it jacked up. Think the uppers only require 70-75ft lbs, lowers 125ft lbs. The lowers and the trk bar are the major torquer's.

It seems as if it's the upper CTRL ARM axle mount trhat your are referring to. Just use an end wrench and cheater pipe . I'm guessing you can't get the torque wrench on either side. Tighten like a sumbitch, as Redneck would say.

alright i got er done. I was pretty mad for a minute there... but that has passed. I'm almost 7 hours into this, and I'm just starting the front. I guess I shouldn't have tried to do this solo becuase apparently I'm borderline retarded.

I did mine and all I had to do was remove the sway bar end links, shocks, drop the axle down and the springs fell out. I didn't touch the control arm bolts or the track bar bolts.

rear uppers, rear lowers and front lowers are 125; front uppers are 75
