Stay away from the metal tubed CAIs as they attract and hold under hood heat somewhat negating what a cold air intake is supposed to do.

Installed a Trueflow XDI this morning and i've gotta say, it really brought the little 3.8L to life. Thus far throttle response has definitley improved and if I didnt gain at least 10 ponies and a fair amount of torque then i'd definitley be surprised. The engine is breathing a hell of alot better and it starts to sound real mean once you hit about 3000 RPM Going on a roadtrip this weekend so i'll post again as to whether there are any noticeable mpg increases or not. Install took all of 20 minutes, biggest pain in the a$$ was blotting the excess oil/tackifier off. Overall im really impressed so far.

where's the best place to get these? i can only find them for over $330. kind of steep for a cai.
