Xtreme 4x4
I got up earlier than I usually do on a Sunday and watched xtreme 4x4 they used a 2013 jk and something that really puzzled me was they used a day star 3 in spacer system( I'm not knocking it but just confused) I would understand using the kit to do a budget build show or something like that however they were building the jk for magmaflo and they used a currie 9 in rear and I'm not sure on the front my question is why use the day star kit when you have sponsors and money to do what ever you want
I was trying to undstand as well why he did the lift first and then did the axle swap?? I was also wondering why on earth he went with what looks like the cheapest way to lift a vehicle there is?? He put in twelve grand in axles and then giant rubber spacers for a lift? I'm sure there is a reason for it we are just left in the dark on it. Like someone else said I'm sure it has somethig to do with the sponcer.

I think they are building it for magnaflow... Magnaflow probably has a list of partners they wanted to include on the build and that's how daystar got put on the list. Daystar has some pretty aggressive marketing on these types of things, the petersons 4 wheeler year long review of the rubicon used that kit and the highlighted how easy it was to return to stock when they sent it back to Chrysler
I'm just shocked they only went with 20 inch wheels. Those axles are begging for 26's with spinners. Then they could have gone with that new import car look where the wheels are two inches wider than the tires. Who wouldn't want to be crawling at 2 mph, but have their wheels look like they're doing 20!
Yeah makes no sense to upgrade the axles. He even states this rig will not see any hardcore off roading.
They are clearly selling product.
The only good parts that were installed were the MetalCloak arms.
