Xtreme 4x4
Yep I love flat fenders with 3 inch lift with one ton axles then run 35" with 20's. Oh and 4.86 gears for a non offroad jeep. Haha 4000 rpm on highway and it really needs 40" tires to look right. I guess ole pointy hair never worked on 2012+ jk before
Yeah, I saw the 3" pucks and almost changed the channel... then I saw the metal cloak arms and 9" axles and put the remote back down... then I saw the 20" rims, and done!
Its still a fun show to watch every now and then, and sometimes you'll see some cool stuff like a custom fabricated cage or something of the sort; but even at that, you can't fit much of a how to into a 30 minute show. It turns into showing one tube getting bent, one tack weld being made, commercial, come back and poof its done and on to the next thing.
...on that note, I was talking with the owner of a local Jeep shop around here once and got on the topic of this show, and says he always gets a kick out of it... almost every Monday morning he has at least 1-2 people that call up wanting something they saw on the show, and then seem befuddled when he quotes them for a 4 hour install for something that took them 6 minutes and a commercial break to do on the show.

Yep. All of those shows are truly shit now. I love Jeeps. And couldn't watch the show.
The show "One car, Too far" was cool. Sort of. Until you see the second episode and the same m.o. TV sucks. Only thing that is worth watching is live sports. Everything else, and I mean EVERYTHING ELSE, just flat sucks.
Sent from the fast lane while driving one handed.

The first JK Xtreme 4x4 did was a major bust so surprised they took on another one. Last time was a Jk with a RIPP supercharger and atomic axles. Goal was to build a non-cookie cutter (cookie cutter being a Jk with Hemi on 40's....).
They never showed the final episode which was supposed to be a trail run. Never happened and Rustys off road ended up having axles for sale on their website.
They did a dyno on the Jk against a Hemi and were able to beat the numbers after several tunes. From what I read on forums, while they got the numbers, the jeep was not drive able on the street as the tune was all for the dyno.
Still...fun show to watch
