Are you horny?
Ok update time. Managed to run my horn through the relay this time. The main horn was fed with 12 gauge wire right from the battery. The stock horn wires went to the relay to act as triggers. I also relocated the horn from the driver's side headlight to the battery area, right next to the oil cap.
Maybe it's me being hopeful but it seems to sound louder and clearer now. Not sure if it's because of the reloc or the direct feed from the battery.
After I was done, it occurred to me that most cars have 12V running right into the battery thru a built in relay. Am I wrong? If so, did I just waste my time relaying a relay?? And I'm just imagining better results?

I took 4 Honda Accord horns, wired them off the stock harness and now have a nice load JEEP-JEEP horn....I had done my YJ back in the 90's.....works good and LASTS....
