Your Spare Tire
I'm using stock carrier cuz I have too many things on the "to mod" list that are more important but I will go to a bumper/tire swing combo asap.....I know the clock is ticking but so far so good
Only thing I did is get the Daystar spare bumpstops..so far no vibes

I just put those Daystars on, I think the people that are having issues do not put them on, the spare rattles and starts creating problems, hinge cracking etc......
I am running a 35x12.5x15 MTR on a Black Rock wheel ( almost the exact same weight as a stock wheel and tire) on the stock carrier with Daystar bumps, and the MBRP reinforcement kit. My tire just barely rests on teh bumper. I will say that while I feel the MBRP kit does work, I think from an engineering standpoint it would add a ton more sturdiness if the brackets tehmselves were tapped, instead of having the spped clips on them, which space them away fro the gate ever so slightly. The way they are now, two holes brace off each other, vs the width of the bracket itself could spread out some pressure if they could lay perfectly flat on the inside of the gate. I thought about tapping mine, and going with some bigger hardware, but I feel like I ll be ok.
I went with the (No Spare) method. I have ARB on board air kit and a Rugged Ridge plug kit. If I travel any further away from home (Or Cell Signal) I plan on getting the Orfab Carrier because it uses the tail gate hindges as its mount. I asked the guys at Posion Spyder why they dont have a carrier and they said "Not the kind of wheeling we do."
