Not meaning to hijack, but what's everyone think about these winches? These things are quite a bit less than the 9.5 cti for example. Is it worth the savings?

It covers the front of the rope but the bottom and rear of the drum is stilll open. It looks like it will help keep heavy crud out of the windings plus it looks cool.

I can't be much help because I haven't made any pulls with it yet, but just from looking at it and running it to spool the rope, it seems to be grade A warn quality
