Domenic is good, also check out Lou at Elias http://www.elias4wdcenter.com/

both do excellent work and both support local offroading

I've never dealt with Bob at Baystate, but have heard nothing but good things about him as well.

I heard Elias is good but I'm not sure they do installs even though I know a jeep mechanic that apparently went to work for him.

He's a full service shop. Installs what he sells, fixes whatever's broken. I've had him replace the clutch on my YJ, change gears for me, and more.

I didn't know that because I thought he was closed Friday and Saturdays.

He is closed Fridays and Saturdays - and Sundays too.

Monday thru Thursday gives plenty of time for doing installs/repairs, and he usually does events (like the Jeep Rally, shows like that) on the weekends.

The last time I needed work done, I towed the Jeep to his lot on Sunday and left it with the key in the ashtray (after getting Lou's permission, of course.)

Last time I bought parts from him was on a Saturday. He went wheeling with us (Baystate Jeepers), and my son bent his tie rod. We stopped at the shop on the way home, and Lou opened up and sold him a heavy-duty replacement.

He's good people.
