ok thinking about a stubby bumper .

not sure what is aloud by mass law . any one know

 

Don't think there is one. I run one, a bunch more of us around here do too.

 

If you BUY one it should pass in all states. I don't think anyone makes one so small it's illegal. The missouri law, got to be at least 4" tall and 2" past frame ends or something like that.

 

I don't believe this to be true, many aftermarket parts, bumpers included, would not pass state inspections.

 

I am from mass and have a stubby bumper and never had a problem with a sticker. The thing i was told to be carefull of was that the tires did not stick out from fenders.

 

fingers crossed about that.......replaced fenders with Poison Spyder flares and it seems like the tires stick out a little. Haven't been stopped by any police or anything though. They seem to like the look of the rig. We'll see in March.



Anybody have PS flares in Mass? Just wondering.

 

Dave I'm thinking maybe your plate might help you..... as it should.

 

I've been eying those. i wanted the shrockworks ones but they stopped working on them. the PS ones are pretty close to the ones i had drawn up and i like all the bracing they give you to stiffen out the outer panels.
