CT?
Nepaug is not a legal trail for off highway vehicles unfortunately. And not much anywhere in CT unless it's private property. Join one of the NEA clubs and you will find all the legal trails you can run.

ren it sounds like you've snagged enough forum members, i might have to join yalls club!
Simsbury here. I also have to reiterate what Ren said, Nepaug is not legal for wheeling. I live about 15 minutes from it but it's only really open for hiking and some biking.
Make a run down to Rausch Creek Offroad Park if you guys really want to wheel, it's 3000 acres and open to the public. It's a bit of haul but there is more terrain there than you'll know what to do with. It's my go to spot for wheeling, been there more times than I can count...still not sick of the place nor have I hit all the trails yet.
Also like Ren said, joining a local club will give you access to spots not open to the public. Been meaning to join one for a while, lol.

Got to agree with most previous comments. Most legal access is out of state and even that is limited. Properties are getting taken away faster than acquired. Our club just joined the NEA as well to be able to have some options.

I haven't been up there in quite some time, having sold my TJ a few years back (only a few more weeks until my JK arrives!). It seems that most of the maps have done away with the road that used to run through the forest, thus making it no longer accessible. There's always RC for a good ol' weekend trip
I used to wheel on a family member's piece of property locally, but a local establishment's disrespect of the property forced them to close it off.
