I just joined this year. Been wheeling twice but wheeling trips are generally every month during the season April-October or so

Not yet. Larger wheels and lift kit are unlikely :( I don't think it would clear the garage door, plus with two kids and all that goes with owning a house, $$$ is scarce. Would like to change out the bumpers though. It's really my wife's dd, she wants it to look badass. Sounds like a lift kit and larger tires may happen

CT resident here, currently Stamford, I grew up and lived in Shelton until recently and used to offload up in some trails in Oxford behind the airport but I'm not sure if there still accessible. Haven't been there in quite a few years.

Thanks! Took the doors off for the first time and cruised around with the kids, they had a blast.

Bumping this back up. I've been seeing a lot of rigs in the northwest corner, especially in the Torrington/Winsted/New Hartford area.

Default Just a video of me out in the snow after the blizzard

Took a ride around town with the Jeep the day after the February 2013 Blizzard. Most of the roads were still covered in snow. Catch the Jeep wave at the end

Wethersfield checking in!

I have a question about Nepaug ... I've been there a couple times and have even passed the DEP on the dirt roads, they just waved. I didn't get a chance to ask them, but are the trails underneath and along the power lines the only part that is off limits? Or is everything past the initial parking spots, at either entrance, off limits? There's a system of dirt roads that run through Nepaug and they all connect at some point, are these a no-go as well?
