CT resident here, currently Stamford, I grew up and lived in Shelton until recently and used to offload up in some trails in Oxford behind the airport but I'm not sure if there still accessible. Haven't been there in quite a few years.

Took a ride around town with the Jeep the day after the February 2013 Blizzard. Most of the roads were still covered in snow. Catch the Jeep wave at the end

Wethersfield checking in!
I have a question about Nepaug ... I've been there a couple times and have even passed the DEP on the dirt roads, they just waved. I didn't get a chance to ask them, but are the trails underneath and along the power lines the only part that is off limits? Or is everything past the initial parking spots, at either entrance, off limits? There's a system of dirt roads that run through Nepaug and they all connect at some point, are these a no-go as well?
