CT checking in
What's going on everybody. I haven't been around much, just working my tail off trying to get rid of these medical bills. Hey Milk, sounds like the jeep bugs biting again. Be carefull about the jeeps older than the 90's. The frames rot out really bad on them, and that's why most people get rid of them. Take it easy guys.
I helped a friend of mine pull his trany out of his YJ....it wasn't too bad of a job.
The only real problem we ran into was the two top bell housing bolts
were Torx head bolts instead of the standard hexhead bolts.
Boy were we pissed off, because we ended up having to wait till we got the correct socket
just for 2 bolts that were keeping us from getting the trany out.
I could help you with that...and I have the socket too

glad to see your doing well and still have some work, My brother (also driving trucks) got laid off yesterday. I would love a TJ but I don't think it's in the cards right now. Another year or two into my apprenticeship and I'll have one for sure.

Hey, checked out that Jeep for sale. It is infact a YJ and it looked to be in good condition. Didnt have a price on it, just a phone number, but my guess would be this is in the 3k range. Ill grab the phone# off it next time i drive downtown if your interested
Thanks.
Come January I'll really start shopping for them. I managed to get the Z stuck today IN THE DRIVE WAY! lol I just started laughing but I needed to move it to get the trash cans out.
Not yet, but I'll try to snap some soon... in fact, if the weather lets up while there's still daylight, I'll post up today. I ended up going with Hankook tires, and I had my doubts at first, but they've proven very good in deep snow so far.
