CT checking in
Work put me up in the farmington marriot. A few of us decided to go for a ride and see what was happening in the outside world. Saw about 10 cars and 4 were jeeps, all waved and a good time was had in the new britan wall mart lot
================================================== =
I had a short but very sweet little romp with my ride in the snow yesterday on my way home from work.
As I was traveling up the highway, I needed to take an exit to catch an extension. Well the plows had
completly blocked off the exit with the snow that they had pushed off to the side.
Hell, you couldn't even see where the ramp began. The snow looked to be about one and a half to two feet deep.
No cars even dared to try to take that exit.
that were stuck trying to take other exits just before this one, and the snow on those looked like it was half as deep.
I looked at it and and asked, in thought to myself, "Damn! You mean I'm gonna have to find another way to go?!?!?!"
But then, as I got closer to the area where I knew where the ramp began, something inside of me just said "Funk It!!!"
and I cut the wheel and drove straight into the pile.
KABOOSH!! The snow went flying! Some of it even blew up over the hood. The Jeep got a little squirrely in the deep snow and
fishtailed a bit even though I was in 4high. But I stayed on the throttle and powered through it and got to the other side.
I wish someone could have taken my picture right after that, because I know that I had a huge $--t-eating grin on my face from
my sense of acomplishment. And another thing that I thought was pretty cool too, was In my rearview mirror I could see other cars
now taking the exit where I had just plowed through.
Talk about an ego booster. yee-ha!!!
What dealer ships did you guys use? I picked mine up from papa's in new britan and I want to stab those people everyday more and more when I talk to them. And now with this shifter problem I am afraid to take it to them.
Hey Clubber......... Thanks for the countdown. Can't wait. It's supposed to be delivered 3/22 at 1:30pm. They still have to install the remote start. Hope to have it for next weekend
