It's should be at the dealer at 1:30pm. Been sick the last few days. The Doc. said it wasn't strep throat! He told me to take 1 Rubicon and call him in the morning!

 

So - 1:30's come and gone... did you get it? DID YOU? WELL, DID YOU???

Well, here it is 4:30pm, and I havn't herd hyde nor hair, from my favorite dealer. All I can say is that they better make a sweet final deal, when all is said and done

 

3 Things:

1) Sorry to hear that - sounds familiar.
2) Don't make the mistake of leaving the ball in the dealer's court... HOUND them about this!
3) If you're pissed, make sure that they know that, and see how much your opinion (and subsequent DCX dealership survey results) are worth to them. Also don't be afraid to ask for extras or service credits - worst they can do is say no, and if you don't ask, they probably won't volunteer to do anything.

Just called DCX. Status KZM!!!!!! What???????? Thats first rail departure! It was supposed to be KZX Today(delivered to dealer) So I called my salesman(as he will not call me) He said that it hasn't reached Selkirk,NY. yet. I told him that he better sweet'n the deal, or I'm going to cancel........ Yarg!

 

Not that this'll happen to you, but remember my story: On President's Day, my salesman tells me that my Jeep is buried under 11 feet of snow in Selkirk (their distribution hub for our region), and won't be delivered for at least a week or more. The VERY NEXT DAY I got the call that it had arrived and was ready for me... So, there may be some hope yet!

 

Well! My Salesman finally calls me, to sweet'n the deal! Are you ready for this! He said that he got ahold of DCX, an they are willing to give me a service contract for 36k miles! Lets see. Thats six oil/fltr lube, six tire rotation/bal. Does this guy think that I am a bumbailing funk????????? My reply was CANCEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Are you kidding me? You're willing to give up your custom-ordered Rubi, with all the options you want, because it's gonna be an extra week or so that you have to wait? Bro - hang in there! I PAID for a 7 year Mopar service contract, and got a steep discount, but nothing was offered to me FREE of charge! (edit: I lied by accident - I got free touch-up paint because I demanded it, and I get free lifetime oil changes).

IMO, you're getting a good deal. I hope that they're willing to do something else for you, so that you don't screw yourself out of the exact Rubi you wanted... Got my fingers crossed for you. Take a deep breath and think it out.

OK! Stopped in to see my local friendly neighborhood dealership, to get my deposit back. Well, well, well. How convinient that my salesman left early!!! So, I end up talking to the general sales manager. He offered me nothing more, and said that he will gladly give me my deposit back, and would give me a courtesy call, when the jeep comes in(3/30), just in case I change my mind! This Guys good!! You guys are good too! So I guess I'm going to wait a little longer I WANT MY JEEP ALREADY
