For what it's worth, I was able to find out the bumper laws of NY, which may or may not be the same as CT. The laws there state that a bumper has to be 30" from the ground and the outer edge of the bumper cannot be more than 18" inside the outer most edge of the vehicle. I'd have to measure, but I think at least a mid-width bumber would fall within that range. II'll try to find out for sure about CT, though. Some states have laws about bumpers covering the tires.

We all know that blonds can have their moments, but in Sue's defense I am willing to bet that your abbreviation "diff." may have been thought to mean differential as in axle housing which you can buy "stronger than stock" aftermarket covers for that can come in diff. colors and the letters that spell RUBICON on the hood of my jeep are quite BOLD

Ya know what I mean??????

Your vehicle all ready has two (2) differentials, unless your Jeep is a four by two (4X2).

It's only my opinion, but if you were to change your differentials, it would just be a waste of money. There's really no need unless you break one or if you install really large tires.
Untill either of those things happen...don't worry about it.
