DMM - that's blasphemy!

Just out of curiosity, what's the statute on Lemon Law? You've had your Jeep for quite awhile now...

So, if you're buying a VW, are you buying a ghey Cabrio or New Beetle convertible? I'm assuming you're going to buy a convertible, because you'll suffer the topless blues come summertime...

Well, whatever you end up doing, good luck!

Thanks!, I'd still be around. I would just change my signature line to.
"2007 x lemoned, now crossing fingers for 2010 diesel"

Lemon law is 2 years or 24,000 miles when you start the process. I have 12 months 21,xxx miles. (Boston is far apparently) The only VW I am looking at is an R32, I'm also going to look for and IS300 (standard really hard to find), Honda s2000, or a third gen miata all of which I will daily drive until a diesel wrangler comes out and the temp DD will become a project. The miata would be an LS1 so not gay. It's something I've always wanted to do sine my mother had the 99 with a Jackson super charger.

What's going on everyone. Sorry to here about your luck Milk. It's been a crappy time here. I got my lift, tires and driveshafts all done 2 weeks ago. Then i went out for a ride that night, came home, slipped on the ice, broke a bone in my ankle, spiral fractured my fibula and tore the ligiments in my ankle. Life Sucks. The weather getting better and I'm itching to so some wheeling. We'll all have to get together soon. Later.

All the papers are at my attorneys, you should see the book the state sends you to try and lemon something, its like they hope you get discouraged and don't go through with it. I'd rather pay some one to go through it and make sure everything comes out fine. As of now, no more rain driving and no problems as of yet. My bet was 1700 miles she'll go again. So 1400 miles to go lol.

I really think I am going with another jeep though, a cj 5 was facing me at a red light the other day, the two of us waved and I almost cried knowing I might not be able to do that anymore. The jeep is the first thing I got to drive out of free will and I never really want to lose her, she may be a death trap but shes got character. I do how ever thing the next one will be Jeep Green and MyGig is a must. I hate getting lost in boston every weekend.

Save your money on the MyGig and get a Garmin Nuvi (I have the 650) or get something similar. Believe me you'll be much happier. Don't let the advertising for the MyGig fool you.
It seems cool...Hell, I was gonna get it myself till they ended up being put on backorder.
It gave me the time to look into what I would actually be getting from it...it's really not that great of a unit for the price being paid. You really can do a lot better.

And one other thing....You can't take the MyGig with you if you want to walk around town or ride a bike or use another car....know what I mean.

Although , if you just happen to have a fat wad of money that's burning a hole in your pocket
and your looking for anything to spend it on...I'll gladly take it off your hands for you.

haha, I have a tom tom, I just want something fixed in the car that wont clutter our 4 inch windshield. You know how short Amy is, she can hardly see over the steering wheel if she drives and I hate sticking it up high so the easy solution is mygig or an aftermarket unit. With the electrical problems I already have I would like to keep that part as stock as possible, lol.

Red Rubi - OUCH! So sorry to hear that you're busted up... I hope that you have a speedy and painless recovery!

Milkman - Good luck with lemon law. I knew you'd see the light and want to remain in the Jeep family.

I'm hoping to have my Jeep lifted soon (now that it's over a year old, it's time for it to grow up!), so hopefully I'll have some new height to show off when we go wheeling again...

That sounds good M.
Any idea as to how high yet?
Or are you still trying to figure that one out ( like me ) ?
